OUR MISSION: COME. CONNECT. GO.
The mission of Covenant Baptist Church is to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ by helping people “come” to Christ with belief, “connect” with other believers to grow and “go” to the world with the message and ministry of Jesus Christ.
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
We seek: To be a dynamic spiritual fellowship empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, state, and throughout the world. (Evangelism)
To help people experience holiness, spiritual growth, maturity and training as disciples of Jesus Christ. (Discipleship)
To be a church that unselfishly & compassionately works to meet spiritual and physical needs of people in any location and of any race or background in the name of Jesus. (Ministry)
To be a worshiping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person and responding in obedience to His leadership. (Worship)
To experience stronger fellowship with other believers through relationships formed by service and ministry alongside one another. (Fellowship)
These principle functions will be pursued whether through ministry based from our primary campus, secondary campuses or through new church plants near or far.
OUR VISION
We will be a devoutly Biblical church for the whole family that glorifies God with a growing number of conversions, ministry leaders and congregations by proclaiming and showing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will worship in spirit and truth and be a church of peace and stability with a good reputation in our community.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in June, 2000. We band ourselves together as a body of baptized Believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind and to making disciples for Jesus Christ.
